Minister Kevin Edwards

Minister Kevin Edwards was a devoted man of God, committed to spreading His word and uplifting those around him. One evening, he and his longtime friend Eric (affectionately known as Bird) had a conversation that would spark something powerful—a weekly Bible study among a close-knit group of friends. Many of us had known each other for over 40 years, some for more than 50, and we all agreed to meet every Monday night at 7:45 PM. 

 From that moment on, a fire was lit. For over two years, without fail, Minister Kevin remained steadfast in his commitment to our gatherings. Whether it was a holiday, a hospital stay, or even when half the group attended a basketball game, he was insistent that we should come together and study the Word. His dedication and unwavering faith became the foundation of our fellowship. 

 In September 2024, we extended our outreach by visiting the VA in the DC area, where we packed boxes for hundreds of senior citizens while sharing God’s love. It was a testament to the spirit of service that Minister Kevin embodied. 

 On November 1, 2024, Kevin was called home to be with the Lord. His passing left us stunned, but in his memory and honor, we, the men of "Kevin Edwards Agent," made a solemn decision—man to man—to continue his vision of serving the Lord and spreading His word. As the disciples followed and served Christ, we aim to spread the Gospel and serve our community. Kevin’s legacy lives on in our hearts, our fellowship, and our commitment to the mission he so passionately led.
